Caroline Chriss Hearn is a Baltimore-based artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, place, and atmosphere. Through layered brushstrokes and intuitive composition, she seeks to transport the viewer to a moment suspended in time—one that feels both familiar and fleeting.

Drawn to the meeting point of ocean and sky, Caroline is captivated by the horizon’s quiet tension: a boundary that is both infinite and ever-changing. The coastal landscape serves as her muse, its natural rhythms mirrored in her use of color, light, and form. Man-made elements—boats, houses, and the occasional human figure—emerge organically within her work, suggesting the delicate coexistence between nature and human presence.
